Campaign GPS

In addition to the permanently running GPS stations do we observe a dense GPS-net in the campaign mode in order to increase the spatial resolution. This network was installed in the framework of the SAGA project (South America Geodynamic Activities) and comprises about 250 sites covering Chile and the western part of Argentina. Those investigations also aim at studying the long-term deformation behavior of the fore-arc as well as of the back-arc and the overall evolution of the Andes.
