Strongmotion network

To monitor ground motion during large earthquakes seven neuralgic structures were equipped with Etna accelerographs. Recording is done in a triggered mode.

Operation of the equipment is done in cooperation of the Departamento de Ingenieria Civil, Universidad de Chile, Potsdam University and GFZ German research Centre for Geosciences.
